All pieces are dyable, so you can play around with the colours to your liking, but I recommend keeping the headpiece the same to match the gold accents. A great, and easier to obtain, substitute for the pants are the welkin breeches, the ast af1 bottoms (if you do use them, I'd recommend dying the top to match the sash of the pants).
