One thing I disliked about Dark Knight sets was the whole "living armor" or "demonic" aesthetic. It never appealed to me, and I just wanted a normal looking suit of gritty, worn-down armor that a traveling knight would don. Thankfully, the pieces slowly started falling into place between the end of Shadowbringers and beginning of Endwalker. Sadly, being a Viera I had to wait until Dawntrail for a fending hood/cowl that would actually fit this set. Still, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
