Cress Albane - Tales of Phantasia

Cress is a traveling swordsman from the village of Toltus. He journeys with a goal of improving his swordsmanship and defeating the demon king, Dhaos. As the son of Sword Instructor Miguel Albane, He's been trained in swordsmanship since he was a child. Cress is the main protagonist in the Bandai Namco game, Tales of Phantasia; and is one of the few chosen to wield the Eternal Sword by the spirit, Origin.
