The adept adventurer, spending her days searching for treasures long-lost, must be prepared for every eventuality. Well-protected, but not hindered. Well-armed, but not encumbered. Well-supplied, but not slowed down. This attire accomplishes all of the above, while adding a healthy dose of roguish panache to the mix. Of course, the helmet is a uniquely viera design - other races will not be quite as dashing.
